How to delete your account

• In the Android app or web app: open Profile → Privacy & data → Delete my account, type DELETE and confirm.
• On this page: sign in below and press “Delete my account”.
• Forgot your password? Tap “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen — we’ll email you a code to set a new one. If you joined with Google, just use “Continue with Google”.

What is deleted

• Your account, email address, display name, profile photo and settings.
• Your posts, photos, comments, votes, RSVPs, bookmarks, reports, trusted contacts and business listings.
• Your CNIC and driving-licence details, and any verification photos still waiting for review.
• If you signed in with Google, the name and email we received from Google.

What is kept

Records of moderation actions taken by Be Alert admins (for example, that a post was removed) are kept for safety, without your name, email or other personal details. Nothing else is kept.
